The St Lawrence Chapel and Prayer Tree
The St Lawrence chapel is a very quiet and beautiful space and an ideal place for silent prayer and reflection.
In the St Lawrence chapel you will find prayer cards and literature to assist you in your prayer and you will also find a Prayer Tree. Here, you can write down your prayers on a prayer leaf and attach it to the tree.
Sometimes when we are in a quandary and don’t know what to do or where to turn, we can find that writing down our thoughts, hopes, fears and prayers or simply the name of a loved one is something constructive that we can do. The prayer leaves are presented to God and blessed by the priest during Holy Communion.
