NEWS

By 13 July 2015 the Bingley Foodbank had helped 1,269 clients of whom 816 were adults and 453 were children. These were covered by the 533 vouchers that had been redeemed. Of all the clients, 41% had been helped only once and a further 26% of clients had been given food bags twice. 28% of clients had needed help on more than three occasions. By this time the team of volunteers had evolved to be 58 strong. Signposting services were also fully operational. This would not have been possible but for the generous donations of food, and cash and volunteer time which keep the Foodbank in operation.
