Fast Forward
2014
Fast Forward is an event run and funded by Bingley churches for Bingley schoolchildren who are just about to leave their primary schools and move on to secondary schools.
It is essentially a morning of fun activities involving craft and games while also addressing possible problems that might arise from changing school; from a Christian perspective. Worries often confront us all as we make changes. These sessions are designed to help the youngsters cope with those changes.
Fast Forward has been taking place in Bingley for several years and is always popular with the local schools. It’s a fun morning for children and volunteers.
However, the teams that run these events are staffed entirely by Christian volunteers and without volunteers, we can’t run them.

The events take place in local churches, the first one on 1st July and the second on 4th July in the mornings. You can volunteer for either one or both mornings.

We’re proud of the fact that our team has members right across the churches in Bingley. Please can you all try to get the message out into your church that Fast Forward happens, please don’t leave it to church leaders and a ‘pew sheet’. As the numbers of children swell, we need more volunteers to work with them. Also in summer many of our volunteers take an early holiday and so we need more helpers.
